There have been so few vinyl LPs produced over the last 5 years that you should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! 2010 Grammy Award Winner for:
• 'Best Rock Album'

Green Day’s eighth studio album, 21st Century Breakdown, is the trio’s first studio disc since 2004’s Grammy®- winning Best Rock Album American Idiot, which debuted at #1, spawned five hit singles, and sold more than 12 million copies worldwide (quintuple platinum in the U.S.). Produced by Butch Vig (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage), 21st Century Breakdown continues American Idiot’s punk-rock opera format. Divided into three acts—Heroes And Cons, Charlatans And Saints, and Horseshoes And Handgrenades—the songs follow a young couple, Christian and Gloria, as they experience the disappointment and promise of the new millennium.

WARNING -
Let this be a Warning: "Green Day have risen from their two-year slumber, ready to reclaim their title as punk provocateurs." - Alternative Press
Returning to the raw power, freedom and excitement of their early days, Green Day, the band that sparked neo-punk, punk metal and the ska revival, offer Warning, the most passionate and hope-filled album of their career.
KERPLUNK -
A dozen years before Green Day's Grammy-winning, five-times-platinum, No. 1 charting American Idiot punk rock epic, and before Dookie launched the band to multi-platinum heights, there was Kerplunk! Previously out of print and nearly impossible to find, Green Day's second full-length album, now being reissued for the first time on a major label, introduced drummer Tre Cool and defined the band's sound with memorable riffs, metal-strength momentum and a decade's worth of attitude. Includes a bonus 7".
1. 2000 Light Years Away 2. One For The Razorbacks 3. Welcome To Paradise 4. Christie Rd. 5. Private Ale 6. Dominated Love Slave 7. One Of My Lies 8. 80 9. Android 10. No One Knows 11. Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? 12. Words I Might Have Ate39 SMOOTH -
This is where the garage punk-pop revival began. Before Nirvana and Nevermind, there was Green Day and the 1991 indie-released 39/Smooth. MTV, multiplatinum albums and massive critical acclaim were still in the distance at this point. 39/Smooth was a three chord explosion of unfettered, even goofy, energy and passion. Previously out of print, this elusive album, now reissued for the first time on a major label, marks the genesis of modern rock. Includes two bonus 7" records.
1. At The Library With Waba Se Wasca 2. Don't Leave Me 3. I Was Here 4. Disappearing Boy 5. Green Day 6. Going To Pasalacqua 7. 16 8. Road To Acceptance 9. Rest 10. The Judge's Daughter

Reviewer: Brandonh I received this album yesterday from Acoustic Sounds and of course it was meticulously packed as usual. The 180g vinyl was perfectly flat and the background was dead silent. Playing it on my Technics SL-1210M5G fitted with the Sure V15xMR through dual QSC 3622 amplifiers bridged @ 4800 total power I must say this vinyl version definitely out does the CD hands down. The vocals are clear and up front with out being obtrusive the band sounds well balanced and blends perfectly with the vocals. Someone did their homework before cutting the lacquer. Highly recommended. AMERICAN CLASSIC! posted on 01/03/2007

Reviewer: doov I'm thrilled with my purchase of the LP. Acoustic Sounds had it to my door in 24 hours and the packaging was impeccable. Conceptual art and liner notes have been forgotten in the CD age, but their glory has returned with American Idiot. This one one is getting framed and hung on the wall with all the other greats. I might have to buy another copy so that I can frame the liner notes as two posters as well. Well done, Billie Joe. This is a fucking masterpiece. Great record! posted on 02/19/2010

Reviewer: Mike N I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of this record. Very nicely balanced sound... tight bass, crisp highs, clear vocals. The pressing is quite flawless also, dead quite vinyl! Excellent packaging, and excellent tunes! I'm very pleased with this purchase.
