You are bidding on the extremely hard to find out of print first pressing of Green Day's first single "Slappy EP". Released back in 1990, this is the record that started Green Day's immaculate and long-reaching pop punk carreer, with four upbeat snotty post-'77 style so-cal punk anthems. This super rare pressing can be recognized as a first press by not only the green vinyl with a hint of white swirl (RAREST color of this item of all the pressings, with the exception of the ONE sole copy pressed on white which gave the rest of the green pressing of 500 their white swirl), but also because of the early Lookout Records Laytonville, California address. All later pressings would bear the address of the newer Lookout headquarters, somewhere in Berkeley, I think.. This is the genuine artifact, and a must have for any fan of Billie Joe and co. past, present or future. Don't sleep on a chance to own this remarkable item!

This record has been cleaned on a professional grade VPI record cleaning machine. Having inspected the vinyl and sleeve under a 200 watt bulb, I would describe the vinyl as very good plus plus, bordering on near mint minus. Through the green hue, only the faintest marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play can be recognized. The sleeve is Is in very good plus condition with some only slight creasing, but free of defacement, markings or other such unslightlyness. Overall the record is in fantastic shape.
