Description

Be sure to check out all our auctions this week - hundreds of hard to find soul, funk, disco, modern soul, boogie, jazz funk, hip hop, blues & R&B titles in collectible condition are up for grabs! Please consider bidding on multiple LPs to save big on shipping.

Label: See photo, original pressing, both sides have the b-side label affixed (manufacting error). The music on the two sides actually corresponds to the tracklist on back cover.

Record Grade:  strong visual VG, some surface marks, mostly on a-side. The two best songs are on the b-side (Up With The Word and Yearning For the Burning) which is closer to VG+ and it plays great.

Cover Grade:  VG+, slight ringwear, creases (mostly noticeable on back cover)

Wow, where even to begin with this one? Probably best to just play the soundclip. But suffice to say, homegrown gospel boogie funk of the highest order! That bass player, one DeUndra Garcia, sure loved to slap! Zero documentation around this release online. From Lufkin, Texas, year unknown. I found this a few years ago and had been patiently waiting for any other copies to surface so I could swoop in, but it never happened. Now time to let the world know about this special record.

Due to the value this will have to ship by priority/signature confirmed within the US. Overseas will require eBay's international shipping program.

Grading:  I grade conservatively on a scale of NM, Excellent, VG+, VG, VG-, G.  Auctiva offers free image hosting and listing templates Get noticed with 300+ Listing Templates from Auctiva
