Description
Extremely obscure self-written 1970 UK private label concept LP about space travel (or, as the back sleeve notes describe it, "a modern musical with a space-age theme"). Recorded by a local am-dram society, so this has clear parallels with the pre-Ithaca albums Alice Through The Looking Glass and Tomorrow Come Someday, although this LP has a groovy chamber pop and jazz-pop backing (flute, piccolo, clarinet, celeste, trumpet etc) and blissful sunshine pop harmonies rather than the tape loops and psych imagery of the Alice album. Both the disc and sleeve (front cover is printed, back cover is paste-on) are in beautiful mintish condition. This seems to be the only copy to surface on the collectors network thus far, and may well turn out to be your only chance to own this fascinating UK private label LP!
