ORIGINAL UK UNITED ARTISTS (UAS 29917) FIRST PRESSING (February 1976) OF GROUNDHOGS "Crosscut Saw" LP WHICH DELIVERS SUPERB AUDIO THROUGHOUT (ON MY SYSTEM - AT A VERY LOUD VOLUME) WITH A CRYSTAL CLEAR CLEAN, RICH AND DETAILED SOUND - GREAT COPY OF ONE OF GROUNDHOGS UNJUSTLY OVERLOOKED LATER RELEASES - TONY McPHEE NEVER SOUNDED BETTER AND SOME OF THE GUITAR (and keyboard) WORK ON THIS LP (a lot of it synth treated) IS SENSATIONAL
ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ORIGINAL UNITED ARTISTS PRESS PACK FOR THE RELEASE WHICH INCLUDES ONE SHEET OF INFO ON "Crosscut Saw", A TWO PAGE GROUNDHOGS HISTORY, A THREE PAGE FULL TONY McPHEE DISCOGRAPHY AND A GLOSSY BAND PORTRAIT PHOTO ALL ENCLOSED IN A BLACK CARD WALLET WITH FRONT DIE-CUT WINDOW
+ A SMALL PRESS CLIPPING ALBUM REVIEW
PRESSED ON QUALITY MID-HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL
MATRIX: UAS 29917 A-1U (etched "ARUN") / UAS 29917 B-1U
MOTHERS/STAMPERS: 1/A and 1/M
THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL SINGLE MATT SLEEVE
Track Listing:
Side 1: Crosscut Saw / Promiscuity / Boogie Withus / Fulfilment
Side 2: Live A Little Lady / Three Way Split / Mean Mistreater / Eleventh Hour
LABELS: The labels are clean, bright and unmarked but they do carry quite a few spindle traces - this copy has been frequently enjoyed over the years but clearly handled very, very carefully - evident form the superb audio it delivers and the unmarked vinyl surfaces - EXCELLENT labels
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original deep, like-new, glossy sheen and are unmarked - NEAR MINT
VINYL Audio: Crystal clear, deep, rich and detailed sound - beautifully recorded and engineered and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my records prior to listing) the audio is beautifully clean with no real audio issues to report. Some fantastic guitar work from McPhee, a lot of it synth treated - sounds wonderful throughout - pretty much perfect playback and even though its seen quiet a lot of play I would say only on high end audio equipment as there are no signs of groove-wear and there is no distortion present. Critically graded NEAR MINT for audio this is a fantastic copy
SLEEVE: The matt cover is also beautifully preserved having been kept inside a plastic cover all its life so the surfaces and edges are clean, crisp and square with practically no signs of wear - NEAR MINT
PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I USUALLY TAKE QUITE A FEW SO YOU CAN GET A CLEAR INDICATION OF EVERY DETAIL OF THE ITEM
I HAVE UPLOADED AS MANY AS I CAN BUT I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SUPPLY ANY ADDITIONAL PHOTOS ON REQUEST
SUPERB COPY OF ONE OF GROUNDHOGS HARDER TO FIND AND CRIMINALLY OVERLOOKED LATER RELEASES - ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION AND WITH THE ADDITION OF THE PRESS PACK A FANTASTIC ITEM - GREAT STUFF, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED INDEED
AS WITH ALL MY RECORDS THIS HAS A LOW START PRICE AND NO RESERVE
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE RARE AND COLLECTABLE VINYL

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to a recent spate of bidders with no feedback not paying for records I must insist that all bidders with 0 feedback contact me first before bidding to confirm their genuine intention to buy the record otherwise their bid will be cancelled and they will be blocked. Sorry to sound so authoritarian but non payers are a real waste of not only my time but genuine eBayers
