This record is in excellent+ condition. There are very few spindle marks on the labels and there are no pen marks anywhere. There is however a little age related mottling on both sides, which although is noticeable is fairly minor.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are really clean, with little visible in normal light, just a couple of extremely light hairlines on either side. When viewed under very bright white light, there are a few more extremely minor wispy lines as to be expected with a record of this age, but nothing remotely serious or deep. The record has no scuffs, and has a beautiful vivid shine. It is in superb condition for its age and has been very well looked after.
I carefully play tested the record on my system(SME 3009 tonearm, Technics Deck and Ortofon stylus)and it plays really well. It lays pretty flat and there is next to no movement in the record arm on side 1. On side 2 there is slight movement, but nothing drastic or that causes any problems. The sound produced is great; its crisp, dynamic and has little interference other than a trace of static in the run in and between songs. There are obviously no skips, jumps, clicks or any other musical interference. Its a really enjoyable audio experience.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has only very slight wear to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. There are no splits, tears or scuffs anywhere, it is in great shape. There are only a few minor creases to the laminate, and a faint ring mark showing on the back. Inside the gatefold is great, with no pen marks, scuffs, ring marks and little to report other than a couple of very minor creases. There is however some grubbiness on the back which is its main issue really, and this is fairly minor.
It includes its original plain white inner sleeve which is in very good condition with no splits, tears or pen marks. It does however have ring marks visible, discolouring and some other age related grubbiness.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent within 24hrs of payment to ensure swift delivery.
