Agemo’s Trip To Mother Earth (Philips SBL 7884)

This way-out Dutch classic has been called the most truly psychedelic LP to be released anywhere in the 1960s. It's an incomprehensible concept album boasting massive acid guitar leads, phasing, crazed lyrics, powerful melodies and much more. The band actually supported its UK release by playing a handful of gigs in London, but little came of it as it’s one of the rarest UK major label albums of the decade. This copy is as good as you’re ever likely to find.

 

SLEEVE CONDITION

The fragile, glossy laminated gatefold sleeve is in remarkable EX condition, with a few creases and a lower seam split that has been neatly repaired on the inside (not by me!). The spine is entirely intact and legible, and the colours are beautifully clear.

 

VINYL CONDITION

The disc is in staggering NM shape. It has to be the best copy in existence.
