Description
This is a new factory sealed remastered limited release LP of the classic GUARDIAN FIRE AND LOVE.
Originally released in 1990, Fire & Love stands as one of the defining albums of Christian hard rock. The response was immediate, with the video for "Power of Love" earning rotation on MTV's Headbangers Ball and introducing Guardian to an even wider audience.
Trading much of the melodic metal edge of their debut for arena-sized hard rock, Fire & Love delivers soaring vocals, unforgettable hooks, massive choruses, and razor-sharp guitar work from Tony Palacios. Jamie Rowe turns in one of the finest vocal performances of the era, while producers John and Dino Elefante (Kansas, Mastedon) give the album its polished, larger-than-life sound.
If you're a fan of huge guitar riffs, melodic hooks, anthemic choruses, and pristine late-'80s production, this album belongs in your collection. Fans of Stryper, Bon Jovi, Whitecross, Giant, Motley Crüe, and White Lion will feel right at home.
Widely regarded as a Christian rock and metal classic, Fire & Love has appeared on numerous "greatest albums" lists, including:
- #28 – HM Magazine Top 100 Christian Metal Albums of All Time
- #61 – HM Magazine Top 100 Christian Rock Albums of All Time
- #18 – Christian Metal Realm's 100 Greatest Christian Metal Albums
- #11 – Angelic Warlord's Top Albums of the 1990s
This 2017 Legends Remastered edition has been digitally remastered by Rob Colwell (Bombworks Sound), bringing new clarity and punch to an album that continues to inspire fans more than three decades after its original release.
