Description
1st Pressing of GUNS N ROSES Debut Album Appetite for Destruction Featuring the ORIGINAL, BANNED Artwork by Robert Williams! Unopened - still in ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!
This is a MINT CONDITION copy of Appetite for Destruction featuring the original cover art. Robert Williams' painting (also titled Appetite for Destruction) was pulled after several music retailers refused to carry the album, deeming the artwork offensive. The painting was placed inside the album packaging and replaced on the cover by the now famous drawing of a tattoo cross featuring the grinning skull likenesses of the band members.
The album is in the ORIGINAL shrink wrap - which you can tell because it still carries the parental advisory sticker in the upper right corner. The album has been stored in a moisture and smoke-free environment. The shrink wrap is intact, and the cover is not bent or dented in any way. As the record has never been removed, it is obviously in MINT CONDITION also.
This is a RARE piece of rock history which any true fan would love to add to their collection.
