About This Record. Here's a cool rarely seen original first pressing of The Remains only same titled LP from 1967 or thereabouts on Epic Records. Killer garage with some psych twinges that is essential for any garage/psych rock collection! These guys toured with the Beatles and then disappeared, along with this LP. I bought this in 1984 at Venus Records in NYC for $75, but no worries, I have a low starting bid! Please see details below and PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which shows you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.
I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase. Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).
Cover Condition: G+ cover with some major spine damage top portion, staple hole top left, noticeable shelf wear on seams and corners, age spotting on back cover, lighter ring wear. Not so horrible as these things go, as the covers wore easily as longtime collectors know. The past 30 years this has been sleeved and cleaned and meticulously stored;. Please See all the Photos I took. I didn't take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: VG vinyl with no major problems like sticks, jumps, just noticeable scuffs on each side and noticeable paper marks, some patches of noise here and there and a few loud clicks, and some noticeable noise between tracks. But still a good listen. I just did.
Labels: Excellent labels with NO writing and NO defects other than light spindle wear on the label!!!! (Please see photos of all labels)
Inserts: Comes with original plain white (now brown) paper inner sleeve , but no worries it also comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and in a new sleeve so the old Dust does not reattach! Oh My Gosh!
Packaging. I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
