Description
Gabor Szabo Dreams LP Skye Original Laminated Gatefold McFarland Keltner Jazz
Very scare and highly coveted 1966 original gatefold issue on Skye Records (SK-7).
Jacket…VG+, with light general wear, including a touch of ring wear. Small patch of delamination to back spine corner, and also running along the mouth of the back jacket. Otherwise, pretty sweet. Corners and seams are excellent, spine text is perfectly aligned.
Inner…Original white die-cut paper inner is completely intact, with wrinkling and a 1” tear to one side on the inner die-cut. Record is now housed in a Japanese inner. Both inners will be included.
Vinyl…VGish. I would say that it generally looks - and plays - VG+, with light surface noise. But there are some VG moments during quieter songs/passages where said crackle could be a little much for some folks (“Fire Dance,” for instance, the first track on side, is a bit noisy). And there are unquestionably some occasional light pops that more or less bleed into the crackle. Couple of stray spindles to each label, but nothing overly concerning.
Scans are of actual item for sale. If I’m missing anything important to you, please lemme know!
