Description
Up for auction is this rarely offered FOUR (4) 10" Inch, 78rpm Album Set by GUDY CASADESUS, PIANIST Issued on ASCH RECORDS as DM-104 in the early 50's (?) Reportedly has DAVID STONE MARTIN cover artwork drawing 78rpm records are VG++, a few light usage marks or scuffs Outer cover album set is VG+ to VG++, some cover creases
ASCH Records had a strange and diverse list of artists, Howlin Wolf, Josh White, Art Tatum and this Classical Piano Album Set by Gaby Casadesus. You get FOUR (4) 10" Inch, 78rpm old style records which are in very nice condition. They are not Near Mint and brand new, but rather lightly played a year or so, back when purchased, then placed on a shelf for 50 years. Graded VG++, for light usage and still great condition. I played several sides as a test, as with 78's and old 60's styled players there is some noticeable background surface noise which is in the pressing rather than to usage wear. No tics or scratches. Records are in the same condition as center labels, and slightly nicer than album cover.
Album cover is slightly down from 78rpm records due to some visible crease marks along edge inside of first cover, some light shelf wear and bottom edge, slightly yellowing of whiteness on front cover. Another great DAVID STONE MARTIN cover art drawing NO PAPER INSERT INCLUDED
