Description
This is the super rare S/T LP from US Psych Rock group Gandalf. The original Canadian release on Capitol in 1968, ST 121. Collectors of this genre know what this record is, and do not need an explanation!
As you can see from the punched hole in the upper right corner of the sleeve, this is a promo copy (although it is not the one you often see that is marked "FREE"). As you can see from the pictures, the sleeve is in pretty damn good shape. There are a couple stains and creases here and there, and the upper right corner was snipped off a tiiiiiiiny bit (again, it's a promo), but this copy has no split seams or real damage, aside from a little ring wear. The spine has some minor stains and creases on it, but is well in tact and can be read easily. The record is in it's original (blank) inner sleeve. The sleeve has a hole punched through it, same spot as the cover.
The record itself does have some scatches and there is some surface noise on both sides. However, I listened to the record all the way through and there were no skips, and the noise did not interfere with my listening experience. Also, as seen in the photos, there is some handwriting around the outer edge of the label on side 2.
I am not a record selling professional, but I am an avid record collector, and I would grade this record VG, with a VG+ sleeve.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this very sick and very psychedelic rock classic!
