Garth Brooks – Ropin' The Wind, 1991 LP Record (VG) (Please Read) C1-596330
Media Condition: Very Good. Tested thoroughly. Visually the record is glossy with only a handful of smaller, mostly faint marks and wear visible under a light. (Mostly on Side 2.) There are no overly significant markings or deep scratches on either side. Side 1 is definitely VG+ to almost EX range and sounded nice overall with only minimal surface noise. The “Please Read” is referring to Side 2 - which while still looks VG+, for some reason had a little more crackle/surface noise throughout on my player. It was never detrimental and the record still played through normally, but the surface noise was noticeable enough in spots to warrant mentioning. I thought it was most noticeable on “Cold Shoulder” Song 1 and “In Lonesome Dove” Song 3. Consider Side 2 as VG when buying to avoid any disappointment and that’s why the listing is conservatively listed as VG, even though really most aspects of this copy feel nicer than VG.
Cover: Very Good+. No split seams. Overall the cover is clean with no significant issues. The most noticeable sign of wear is a crease about 3-4 inches across in the bottom right corner. A close up photo is included. Very faint signs of ring wear. A couple other small creases along the edges and a hint of whitening in the corners, etc.
