Gary Moore - Run For Cover SIGNED Vinyl LP
You are looking at a copy of Gary Moore's famous Run For Cover album, signed on the back of the cover by GARY MOORE (lead guitar / vocal), NEIL CARTER (guitar / keyboard), BOB DAISLEY (bass) and GARY FERGUSON (drums).
I purchased this many years ago from a record shop owner (whom I was well-aquainted with at the time). It was sold to me in good faith, so whilst I haven't taken the time to get the signatures 'officially' authenticated by someone, I am confident they are genuine signatures on the basis that I had dealt with the seller hundreds of time before and there was never an instance where he wasn't transparent or fair with me.
Granted, I cannot technically remove all 'uncertainty' surrounding the authenticity of the signatures (as most people who sell signed items can't), so just for my own peace of mind I am going to encourage prospective buyers to also apply their own judgement. I have taken many photos which display the signatures clearly. As I have indicated, it is my opinion that they are genuine, but please satisfy yourself first, and then proceed to bid.
Elsewhere, there is someone who has a signed copy of this album and asking well in excess of £1000 for it. Signatures are in great similarity to those presented here on this copy, and marked with a similar pen (which all adds to my confidence they are genuine).
Do some research, and ask me any further questions if you need to. I am a genuine person who just enjoys collecting records as a hobby and who occassionally trades some now and then - so I always aim to treat people with the same respect as though I were the buyer.
Cover: VG to VG+
Very smart condition with a few expected creases near the spine, and some slight storage wear. It remains structually sound and very presentable. Please see for yourself in the photos provided.
Vinyl: VG+
No marks of real concern to my eye. The usual sleeve-removal marks etc. but nothing deep or feelable.
I will pack this well with a professional mailer, bubble wrap, stiffeners etc. I will also send it with tracking/signed for at my own expense.
