Micromusic CED Video Disc

This is an impossible rare Capacitance Electronic Disc (CED) of Micromusic released in the US in 1984 by RCA

This is bigger and far rarer than the Laserdisc version and measures 14" in length and 13" accross

The disc is housed inside the outer plastic cover and comes out once inserted into the player

It was listed in the Top 75 Numan Collectables in Record Collector No.357 at Number 58 and is described as follows;

"More commonly known in the UK as RCA Videodisc, the CED is a long deleted US format from the early 80's. These discs were manufactured in extremely small numbers and only a few have surfaced over the years. Although the CED is much rarer than the Laserdisc, it doesnt match it in quality of sound or vision, but as video formats go, this is an absolute must for collectors!!"

Guide Price was £95 although this copy is still in its original shrinkwrap (see scans as open in parts and slight damage to back cover) and I would expect it to reach more as possibly the best example available worldwide(?) however I have not set a Reserve price and listing starts at 99p!!!!

Postage is by Special Delivery only at £7.55 (almost 1kg including packaging)
