Description

Here is a rare coloured Dutch pressing of Gary Numan's classic "Telekon" album!

This was released in 1980 on Beggar's Banquet (660 078) and someone in the Netherlands decided it could be cool to press this album in various colours with green and red being the more common editions while yellow, blue and white are much tougher to track down.

But if you are reading this you probably know all of this and this won't be your first copy of "Telekon" anyway;)

So....here is the Dutch yellow vinyl variant. It is almost translucent and slightly black marbled creating a great, cloudy effect.

Condition: Let's face it, the star of this show is neither the cover nor the insert as both are the standart Dutch versions and can be obtained for less than £1 with any standart black vinyl NL copy. This cover definitely shows it's age with heavy ringwear and rubbing, a former owner even made crosses next to his favourite tunes - all except for "Please Push No More";). Spine is fully readable and no seamsplit is present: Very Good to Very Good-. Same goes for the insert.

Now the important thing, the vinyl: A great copy, plays great with the occasional surface noise in the quieter bits ("I Dream Of Wires", the aforementioned "Push") but nothing wild or rough: Very Good++. This is certainly the most important bit:)

To sum this up: Great vinyl housed in an average sleeve. Since the vinyl is what you want anyway: Go for it!!!!
