Description

Jay Condom - Let's Make Lust / Apeweek 7" (Eep Records, catalog #1 / Moxie Records, catalog #M 1009, 1978)

A 1980 (second?) single by these guys recently sold for over $80. This one's from 1978 and I'm assuming it's their first. Gary Panter is not credited directly on the cover of this one, but he is credited on the B-side label and insert. This is the 9th record on Moxie (Mike Rep was the 8th) and the only release on the label I ever recall seeing on color vinyl -- a particularly attractive yellow/red splatter. Knowing early Moxie records, it's quite possible this was only a 200 press. Musically a very bizarre record that sounds unlike anything from that era.

Condition: VG/VG+. Sleeve has price sticker stain and minor writing on front, minor ringwear on both sides, and minor creasing. Some would call it a VG+, but I'd rather be conservative. Insert is NM-. Please note: I use Goldmine standard grading, which has no EX grade.

Please see my About Me page for more KBD punk, hardcore, powerpop, new wave, garage rock, indie rock, etc. Multiple wins will save on shipping.
