Description
From my own collection that I'm down-sizing . . .
This is the single from Blondie' original bass player, who wrote (I'm Always Touched By Your) Presence Dear, and is now an author under his own name of Gary Lachman.
I was buying early Blondie releases over here in the UK on Private Stock and so I must have picked this up at the time on import. I knew I had it and have just found it stored inside the sleeve of Blondie's first album. What I didn't realise until just now is that there was a lyric sheet insert. I don't know how many of the pressing came with this insert but I guess it's rare nowadays.
The picture sleeve is completely intact and just shows minor handling wear.
The insert is on orange paper measuring about 6.5 x 11 inches and not surprisingly looks like it's just seen the light of day for the first time!
The vinyl on Beat Records (Beat 001) looks completely mint. I guess I will have played it when purchased but probably just the once. On the picture you can see a white dot on Side B. This seems to be something that was pressed into the surface of the vinyl (in my experience it's common to see this on 7" singles) but I've just played that section to check and you can't hear anything.
It will be packaged well and sent out with free P+P in the UK.
If you are overseas then I'm happy to send to most places but contact me first as I'll have to work out a shipping price and add it for you.
