This listing is for the old, vinyl LP - Gavin Bryars - The Sinking of The Titanic. 1st Press LP with the Grey Labels. 1975 OBSCURE 1 / Island Records. Matrix / Runout (Label A): OBSCURE 1-A and Matrix / Runout (Label B): OBSCURE 1-B and the crossed through K40134B etc. Features The Sinking of The Titanic and Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet. Please note, I have uploaded a YouTube video of part the "Jesus' Blood" track playing, to show how a small scratch/rub causes 10 light clicks. Please search under " GBLP101025JBLOOD " . Hopefully, you can see from the video, that this little approx. 5 second section, around 1.50 minutes in, does not spoil what is overall, a great sounding record. At 2.37minutes in, I had moved the stylus onto a different section for you to listen to. Please study my photos for track listings and label details. Condition - The picture sleeve has a light crease, near to the opening edge, o/w, overall = excellent, with a nice clear readable spine, with only the slightest of storage rubs. The labels = excellent. The "a" side vinyl = excellent, the "b" side has a few very light marks/hairlines/scratches, + one little scratch/rub that causes around 10 light clicks, overall, the "b" side vinyl = very good + to excellent -. Please view my YouTube video as mentioned above. I have played / listened to the whole of this record, there are some slight crackles on the low level entry/intro into the Jesus' track, which also has around 10 very faint, slight clicks,caused by a small scratch/mark (Please see my YouTube video), overall though, this record is an enjoyable, almost haunting, listening experience, with no jumps, skips or sticks. I have used the Record Collector magazine grading guide when assessing this record. Please note, I had a bit of trouble with the lighting when doing the photos for the records I currently have listed. With the sun going in and out etc., so if you see any flashes or reflections of camera/lights/hands etc., on my pictures, it's just on my pictures, not the covers or vinyl.

This listing has free UK Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery. For delivery, the record will be carefully packaged, with the vinyl record taken out of the picture sleeve to prevent record break through damage, then the record and sleeve will be put into a new, Covers 33, 400g protective poly sleeve. The item will then be wrapped in bubble wrap and finally, wrapped within a strong cardboard package, the package will have "Fragile" tape and will also have "Vinyl record - Please do not bend" on it.. Please note - the only overseas delivery option is via eBays, "Global Shipping Programme". Sorry, but at present, I cannot send overseas, unless you use the GSP.
