On offer here is the rare LP 'The Sinking Of The Titanic' by Gavin Bryars,which was issued on the UK Obscure record label in 1975 and was produced by Brian Eno.The LP is best described as avant-garde and minimalist and has just two one-sided tracks,The Sinking Of The Titanic on Side One and Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet on Side Two.Released as Obscure No 1,this great album was only issued in limited numbers and was quickly deleted and is now highly sought after in this original form.The sleeve has only very minor wear around the edges and the faintest ringwear and is graded as EXCELLENT-.The labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition and show Obscure at the top and Island Records at the bottom of the label.The vinyl looks in superb shape and,after playing,I have to grade as EXCELLENT at the very least.There is certainly nothing worse than the very lightest of background crackle on the odd occasion.The matrix numbers are OBSURE NO 1 A 1 and OBSCURE NO 1 B1 with GM also shown on the dead wax.Payment through PayPal please.
