Description

This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.

Release: The Echoes - Ding Dong / My Heart Beats For You


Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957


Notes: Red & black label first pressing. The only single released by this obscure vocal group, presumably out of New York. Good up tempo doo-wop here with interesting use of a doorbell sound effect. 


Vinyl Condition: VG, vinyl itself is in really nice shape with basically no actual wear. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice, but again do have some liquid damage. Nice copy overall that plays VG+, but I’m going to bump down for label cosmetics - this is probably the nicest VG you'll ever find.


Sleeve Condition: VG, has original company sleeve. Has some minor wrinkling and some edge wear. No tears/splits/writing. 


All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
