Description
Over the next few weeks I will be selling off my much loved Record Collection.
Over the last 20 years I have acquired some amazing records from artist such as Genesis, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Gentle Giant, The Who, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin and many others in Very Good to Mint condition
Todays second listing is:
Genesis
Very Rare and only known MISPRESS copy of Foxtrot UK Original fully complete with red advertising inner
GENESIS
Foxtrot
1972 Large Hatter Label
CAS 1052
CAS 1058 A-1U PORKY/ CAS 1058 B-1U PECKO
Genesis Foxtrot was originally issued with a textured sleeve and advertising inner - This copy has both...
What makes this outside the normal rare first pressing is the sleeve has a very rare mispress and is the only known copy to my knowledge (unless anyone knows of another one). The Red Spine lettering isn't on the spine, its of the rear of the sleeve instead - Please look. If you require better pictures, please let me know
Condition
I Have graded each side as follows:
Side A - Near Mint - A couple of light hairline marks only
Side B - Near Mint - A couple of light hairline marks only
The labels are fantastic and only show 1or 2 spindle marks on each side as the record has only been played a few times since new
The playback is stunningly awesome throughout with no surface noise, pops, crackles, or anything that could take away from the clear vibrant sound.
The Red Advertising inner sleeve is Excellent - Looks Superb
The Textured sleeve. This stunning mispress sleeve is in wonderful condition with little or No storage wear from the last 34 years. Graded as Mint-
This is a true 1st press example with the vinyl looking incredible, it really does make this one of the most collectable records there is and with the MISPRESS, makes it very rare indeed.
GOOD LUCK!!
