Description
Genesis Nursery Cryme / Foxtrot 2 LP Gatefold Set
This is the 2 LP Gatefold set by Genesis titled "Nursery Cryme / Foxtrot". This 2-FER includes the complete "Nursery Cryme" and "Foxtrot" LP's in a gatefold presentation. LP's look unplayed with no spindle marks. This is a white label promo. LP was released in the US on Charisma (CA-2-2701) in 1979. White Label Promos and promos with custom center labels were always the first copies out of the molds so they could be sent to radio and retail for advance promotion. These are always the best sounding pressings. When records are pressed there is some deterioration to the mold with each subsequent copy. Because of this the earliest pressed have the best sound and are sought after by Collectors and Audiophiles alike.
LP contains the following 13 tracks:
Nursery Cryme A1, The Musical Box A2, For Absent Friends A3, The Return of the Giant Hogweed B1, Seven Stones B2, Harold the Barrel B3, Harlequin B4, The Fountain of Salmacis Foxtrot C1, Watcher of the Skies C2, Time Table C3, Get 'em Out by Friday C4, Can-Utility and the Coastliners D1, Horizon's D2, Supper's Ready i. As Sure as Eggs Is Eggs (Aching Men's Feet)Cover/LP/LP is in M-/M/M condition.
I was the owner of an independent record store in Seattle for almost 20 years and the majority of these items were pieces I put aside during that time for my personal collection. It kills me to sell some of these rare items, but I have gone back to college (at 47!) and need the money for tuitionAll my Items are legitimate retail product, no bootlegs or pirates.
All photos/scans are of my actual items. I do not use found or stock photos; what you see is what you get. Thanks for looking!
