Description

Hi
This copy of the iconic Genesis release of 1974 has been owned by my wife since she bought it new in London.
Since professional cleaning (Pro-Ject VC-S3), I have played both sides through at high volume and been super-impressed by the audio quality. The discs are now in new Nagaoka ant-static inner sleeves, although the original card sleeves af of course present.
I am not a record dealer, but I have been a record collector, buyer and fanatic for more than 60 years, and I have little trust in the M/MN/VG.... system; it cannot be objective and is often abused. I have literally thousands of records and CD to sell, so I'm simply going to describe them honestly in my own words.
I also know that there is a great deal of discussion about what constitutes a "1st UK Pressing", but I believe the following details meet the general consensus:
Disc 1 Side A: CG 1 A 2U PORKY + JOHNNIE Side B: CG 1 B 2U PECKO
Disc 2 Side A: CG 2 A 2U PECKO Side B: CG 2 B 2U PORKY
Both disc labels bear the credit: "Produced and Marketed by B & C Recods"
The gatefold credits include: "Printed and Made by Bruin B.V. Zaandam, Holland.
Looking at Popsike records and current offerings on eBay, I think it fair to begin this auction at £100 and see where we land. Please don't ask for a "Buy it Now" price... the auction will run its course. If in doubt about anything, please message me with your questions.
Many thanks for looking !!!
