Description
I'm clearing our Dad's record collection. I am not a professional seller and have graded as per rare record collector guide. I asked him about the record and said he bought in error and was actually meaning to buy a different album so barely played it.
GENTLE GIANT - Octopus LP - Original 1972 UK 1st Press Vertigo Swirl, Gatefold Sleeve Release + Inner. Excellent overall condition. VO price code on back cover. Earliest 1st pressing with "1Y//1 & 2Y//1" Stamped matix

Grade - Disc: Excellent - checked under strong light and play back sounds great!
Sleeve: Excellent - no ring wear on front, faint ring wear on the back, excellent sides
Spine: conservatively very good + - light shelf wear at top and bottom as per photo.
Inner - very good + -rare spiral inner with very light browning but unfortunately my dad has written the album name on the top corner as pictured. No splits or tears
Labels are clean & in Excellent condition.
Overall an excellent copy of this rare record.
