DESCRIPTION: Gentle Giant- Three Friends. Complete, original UK pressing with 1Y2/2Y2 matrix, small swirl label with "Made In England" credit and Vertigo swirl inner dated 10/70. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 070 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/VG. Vinyl is super clean with a deep dark sheen. Tilted to artificial light it has only really light brushing lines. Visually this is probably better than EX. Played most of this this morning on my budget deck- all of side 1 and most of side 2. I will listen to it all and update the listing in next few days. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Music is loud and clear with a trace of background sound in the odd intro and quietest passage. Gate fold sleeve is in decent condition. It is firm and square and has light edge wear (1" split to centre top of rear edge) , moderate corner wear and only light creasing. Very clean inside to gate fold. Fully legible spine retains nice shape. Swirl inner is in great shape. Clean and white with only light wear and the start of a 1cm split to one edge only. Poly is still fully attached. No tears around centre. Really clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
