Description
Authentic scarce promotional Radio Station only STEREO lp issued in 1973!
First of all, I should mention that ebay and other sites are flooded with fake copies of this album. Some of the fakes are even sealed and/or colored vinyl. What a joke! Skip all the fakes and get yourself a real collectible lp. I also am selling the extremely rare MONO version of this album in my other auctions.
Catalog #: SD 7255. Matrix # on side A is ST-A-732783-D STERLING RL AP, and an upside down, PR. Side B matrix is ST-A-732784-B STERLING RL AP, and an upside down, PR.
You are bidding on a scarce Houses of the Holy STEREO promo album. Another feature is that this is a Bob Ludwig STERLING pressing, so it rocks extra good. Includes the original textured inner sleeve. It's interesting to note that this one has more texture on the inner sleeve than my mono promo version of this same album. Apparently they were still fine-tuning the manufacturing process when these first pressings were being made. Also the paper stock is a little bit heavier. I'm also selling the mono promo in my other auctions.
Photos show the actual item you will receive. Please ignore any reflections or bad lighting in the photos. This includes reflections of my arms, camera, and various objects in the room and obstructions in the window, including the window screen.
Grade (record / sleeve)
VG / VG .... Light scratches and scuffs. Cover has wear on edges. Radio station sticker in top left corner of cover. Radio station rubber stamps on cover and side A label. Slight age yellowing on inner sleeve.
All records visually graded. I use the following grading system, based on the Goldmine Grading System....
- Mint = New, unplayed.
- NM = Top grade for a used, excellent condition record.
- VG+ = Average grade for a really nice record, still glossy, possibly a few minor scuffs.
- VG = Some deeper scuffs or light scratches.
- G = Obvious wear.
- Fair = Will probably play OK on most turntables.
- Poor = Bad.
