Genuine Original Vee-Jay "Introducing The Beatles" Stereo Album, Rarest Version

As far as I can tell, this is the original, rarest VJ 1062 (1).MC3 version of the album. I have used all the criteria I could find to validate this, including this website:

  • Very high quality printing on semi-gloss front and back cover (cover is in fair condition with a blue ball point word "Devine" in upper right hand corner between "STEREOPHONIC" and "SR 1062")
  • George Harrison's shadow is visible
  • Paul McCartney's hands are on the wrap around on the bottom front
  • Back cover lists tracks in two columns, including "Please, Please Me" and "Ask Me Why"
  • "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" and "THE BEATLES" above center hole on label
  • Label has bright, sharp silver ink
  • Trail off between label and last track is 7/8" on both sides
  • Rainbow band of high quality and with smooth transitions between colors
  • Word "STEREO" printed under "Side 1" and "Side 2" on labels on both sides
  • Letters "MR" stamped inside of a circle on both sides trail off
  • 1/4" overlap at top and bottom of album cover
  • Plain white sleeve that has slightly yellowed

Overall, I would rate the condition as fair to good, though I am not an expert. The album is in very good shape (see phots), and the cover is in fair shape with some minor spitting along top and bottom. The album label has a slight blemish on one side, and some spots on the other that although they look like paint don't appear to be paint upon inspection. See the photos, and I'd be happy to send you even higher-res shots of any angle so you can feel confident that this is the real deal and you're getting what you want.

Because the condition isn't perfect, I'm willing to sell it for less than what I'm told it might bring to an avid collector. So some lucky buyer is going to get a good deal.

I'm told this is the album to have! My mother bought the original when she was in her 20s and has since passed it to me.

Check your facts, you'll find that this is indeed the rarest of the rare. Lots of the other records I've seen up here are fake, but this one passes every test. If you have questions, I'll take other photos at any angle and send them to you so you can be sure.
