Prestige Folklore 14003, “Sleepy Man Blues” with Geoff Muldaur, guitar and vocals; Dave Van Ronk, guitar; Eric von Schmidt, mandolin and harmonica; Bill Keogh, piano; Fritz Richmond, washtub bass; from 1963. Original banjo-logo vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. Jacket is about VG+ to VG++ with strong seams all around but minor wear – mostly color loss – along bottom seam. There is a small amount of ringwear along bottom front center. Jacket has no bends and only negligible corner wear. The jacket back is very clean but age-toned, and there is what looks like an ink smudge from the original factory along top left (see scan). This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
