Record Grade: VG (Has a fair amount of surface scratches that reside mainly on side 2. Plays with low surface sound, mainly on side 2: no pops, no skips. Overall a great player copy. Check the audio for more)
Cover: VG- (Bottom seam split. Cover bends at top. Heavy discoloration on back)
On the cover of this album it promises African Hustle, Reaggae and Native Soul, and man does it deliver... and sometimes all in the same song. Confused? You should be.
This album has such an original sound that jumps around freely in arrangement and delivery, with enough craftsmanship to make it not sound sloppy. There are deep funk moments that fade effortlessly into highlife and then back into funk.
Such a fun album that deserves to be heard! Check it out.
