This great sounding 1st pressing of George's 3-LP box set dates from November 1970 release on the Apple Records label: STCH 639

Housed within an 18mm deep box 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN', with orange lining inside the lid only.
Complete with 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' printed poster
& three different coloured U.S. printed inner-sleeve - there were no UK printed ones.

Each is immaculate with just two or three tiny spindle trails to the side 2 & 4 centre hole only.
Visual - All discs: MINT
All playing surfaces are factory-fresh, unmarked & 'as new' both in strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
There is little evidence to suggest that this exquisite sounding set has been played more than just once or twice. The sound quality overall is flawless and my single careful play-check at volume of all 6 sides detected nothing more than a touch of low-level vinyl background on the track 1 of side 1 but absolutely no further audible distractions elsewhere.
Box: EXCELLENT
A respectable, if slightly age-worn example which has been in storage for many years and bears some foxing to its front panel as a consequence. All corners of both trays are fully intact with no splits or repairs to any & the textured underside is clean & unmarked.
Apart from a small scuff in the centre of the underside of the orange lid, both of the inside panels are unblemished.
The gold spine lettering is slightly worn, but still readable.

Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT
All are clean & unworn with just small lower seam splits to two inners.
