This earliest UK 1st pressing of George's magnificent 3-LP box set dates from November 1970 release with the collective catalogue number: STCH 639

Each disc bears the earliest-type label variation which OMITS: 'ESSEX INT.' & 'MECOLICO BIEM NCB' publishing credits from labels 1, 2, 3 & 4.


Matrix numbers: Disc 1: YEX 817-1U/818-1U. Disc 2: YEX 819-1U/820-1U. Disc 3: YEX 821-1U/822-1U

All 1st 'mother' stamper codes: Disc 1: 1/GR, 1/P Disc 2: 1/GD, 1/O. Disc 3: 1/L, 1/GA

Vinyl weight: 1. 143g. 2. 137g. 3. 143g


Housed inside a U.S. printed box together with textured U.S. printed inner-sleeves (there were no UK printed ones). Lacks poster.


CONDITION

Discs:

1: EXCELLENT

This first disc 1 has received little more than a handful of plays and apart from a small cluster of marks at the end if the final track on side 2 which you can hear on the last 40 seconds of the track, it is without any further faults.

2: NEAR MINT

Just a single spindle trail on the side 2 label and a few wispy paper hairlines beneath halogen light is the only evidence this disc has been played.

3: MINT

Looks and sounds unplayed.

 Box: EXCELLENT

Strong and fully intact with a few small marks/fingerprints to the front but nothing major. The spine lettering is clear and readable and the hinge & corners are undamaged.

 Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT +

All are clean & uncreased with just small seam splits to the ones housing discs 2 & 3.
