Description

A 1st issue of 'All Things Must Pass' on the UK Apple label from 1970. Matrix 1U/1U/1U/1U/1U/1U. Stampers 1O/2PA-2MR/2HD-1PD/2MO. All labels state 'Mfd In U.K.'. The heavy set vinyl comes house in a one-piece box printed in New York [The very very first copies were printed in GB and are slightly deeper]. This copy, however, would have been available for purchase at the time of release Xmas 1970. Also included are all three bespoke coloured inner sleeves. And finally, the original non-bordered GB printed [pink text] poster of George. So, this copy is 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark across all six sides - not bad going! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. These early pressings sound fantastic. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of light static in a couple of tracks on discs 1 & 2 - and very little else. And this is very minor - nothing remotely close to being invasive. A really stunningly preserved 1970 original...
Cover/Box (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. Many of these boxes suffer a good deal of ageing, but this example is in far better than average condition. The only detrimental thing to point out is the number '20' in the top-left and the sticker residue down in the bottom-right. If it weren't for these this box would be graded higher. The structure of the box is perfectly intact. Handling wear is very minor. The interior - immaculate. All text on the spine is 100% intact. Bottom line - this is one superbly preserved cover.
Inners (Ex-) Very nice condition. One of them has a couple of tiny seam splits. The others -100% intact. Please note all of them have a number '20' written in the top-right both sides.
Poster (Ex+) No faults. Remember - this is the original GB print too...
