Description

GEORGE HARRISON

All Things Must Pass

1970 Apple STCH 639

Original UK Box set (intact) with original inner sleeves and original poster

All Six sides have -1U matrix endings which show it as first press LP's

The box has 'Manufactured by Apple Records Inc, 1700 Broadway, New York, New York 10019' text

VINYL:- VG+ to Ex

All sides have -1U matrix endings - first issue vinyl throughout

The records all have some light marks/hairlines etc but still retain a good gloss and have not been heavily played, quick test play and they sounded fantastic.

The records have been cleaned on both an ultrasonic and vacuum cleaner to ensure best quality of audio playback.

Records will be sent in new polylined inner sleeves to protect the vinyl and original inner sleeves.

BOX:- VG+

The original box is intact on all four corners which is unusual and has not been flattened, there is some aging and grubbiness on the front and general light wear/ageing.

INNER SLEEVES:- VG

The 'Apple Jam' inner sleeve has no splitting, only creasing, the other two have some splitting on sides and creasing as is usual. Records will be sent in new polylined inner sleeves to protect the vinyl and original inner sleeves.

POSTER:- Good

The rare original poster has been hung up and has some pin marks, it also has some tears/splitting which have been repaired with tape to preserve it. Otherwise it has ageing and general wear etc. Please see the picture and look carefully.

GRADINGS

I use the UK record collector guide when considering gradings using a + or - when necessary if a record/cover appears to fall between gradings as detailed below, please see below for details. They are based on my interpretation and are of course subjective. If I describe a quick test play it means I have checked in various parts to make sure there is not groove wear/significant distortion caused by poor equipment etc and/or checked scratches, I have not counted crackles.

I am very careful with my descriptions and in the majority of cases carefully clean and check each item and do not send out dirty records. But a reminder, if a record is graded at a lower grade it won?t get better in the post so please read the description carefully. Thanks

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

(All records will have ultra-fine lines under direct light, even brand new ones. A record described as Mint would look like you just picked it up off the record shop shelf so may have very very light handling marks only)

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
