Description
George Harrison, All Things Must Pass,1970 first press Vinyl Box set - complete.
This is a good - very good in parts - first press box set with the USA printing credits.
I've owned this copy for years and years and barely listened to it or opened it up.
I try to be as honest as possible, so here is a breakdown of what to expect:
The box is very good - only minimal wear. The hinge holding the top and bottom lids has come away - but it still slots together perfectly.
The poster is very good - no real creases or splits. The only blemish is a very small tear at the top. USA print credits.
The coloured inner sleeves are very good - no splits or tears, just a little wear (mostly to the purple one which houses disc 1).
The labels are very good - not much spindle-wear. The vinyl, visually, is decent but they do have some hairlines and light scuffs spread across them - most pronounced on disc 1.
When I played them, i've got to be honest, there were sticks on What A Pity 1, If not for You, Behind That Locked Door and Hear Me Lord. However, my machine isn't great - an old 1980s Sony hi-fi) and I've never cleaned them. So you *may* have different success with some more specialist equipment, but I won't sell this guaranteeing of a clean, full play.
In all, it is a very nice, complete copy - but with that playing issue caveat.
The matrixes all end in -1U.
Grading can be a subjective business and I want a happy sale, as do you. So if you have any questions please just ask.
I have tried to be as honest as possible - and take detailed photos. I'll send the LPs in separate jackets from the inners, as they are quite delicate.
Thank you for looking - and happy bidding.
*Please note that the postage quoted (2nd class signed) is for the UK only. Anywhere else and that's obviously subject to change*
