George Harrison- Concert for Bangladesh. Mint boxed set. Japanese version.
Catalogue number STCX 3385, Apple Records.
Very, very scarce Japanese variant from 1978 of this amazing 1971 concert. Features live performances from George Harrison with Ravi Shankar, Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan and Leon Ware.
Spread across three LPs, each in a poly sleeve within orange paper inner sleeves. All in absolutely Mint condition. Accompanied by the 60 page full colour booklet full of photos and credits. There is further, smaller booklet with English and Japanese text containing tracklistings aswell as song words and a transcription of speech recorded betweeen tracks. OBI strip on box lid
The only cosmetic flaws are that one corner of the box lid is slightly split, and a couple of dark storage scuffs you can see in the photos. Thats it, but i'm being picky. Everything else is in immaculate condition. You won't see, or more importantly hear any better!
