Description

Extra Texture (Read All About It) is the sixth studio album by the ex- Beatle. It was released in September 1975 and was the final album released on Apple Records. Extra Texture is the only album by George to this point to not contain any obvious spiritual message. The album contained guest appearances from Gary Wright, Billy Preston, Jim Keltner and Tom Scott. The album peaked at #8 on Top Albums chart in US supported by the single “You”, which hit # 20 on Hot 100 Singles. Albums design features a unique, textured die-cut cover with the words Extra Texture cut out of the front cover with Harrison’s picture showing from the printed inner sleeve below its surface. Difficult to find this cover w sharp clean edges as offered here.
