Description

ARTIST - GEORGE HARRISON AND OTHERS TITLE - THE CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH LABEL - APPLE CATALOG NO - STCX 3385
RECORD GRADING - EX COVER GRADING - VG+
The box is all intact and nice. Minor fraying on the back in a small area, and a small stain. The inner sleeves are very nice as well. Comes with the 64 page booklet, there are some minor stains on the outside cover, but it's all intact. The record grades as follows -
Side One - VG+, visible scuff through track one, minor crackling. Dead wax has Z3 and Sterling stamper with an LH. Side Six - Excellent, small hairline scuffs, high gloss. Dead wax has Z7 and Sterling stamper with an LH.  Side Two - Excellent, minor hairline scuffs, high gloss. Dead wax has Z3, Sterling stamper and LH. Side Five - Close to mint minus, hardly any scuffs, high gloss, Dead wax has Z3, Sterling stamper and LH. Side Three - Excellent, minor scuffs only. Dead wax has Z3, Sterling, LH. Side Six - Excellent, fine hairline scuffs only, high gloss. Dead wax has Z7, Sterling, LH.
All sides have an asterisk in the dead wax, meaning they were pressed at Capitol Records Los Angeles plant. The LH stands for Leo Hulka, who was the chief engineer for Sterling sound studios at the time. This is a fine first pressing.

International bidders- I do not change values on customs labels, and I may not be able to track in all places. For items over $50.00 I ship priority only. If item goes for over $50.00 PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE!!
I can combine shipping! Many times it means I can ship up to 3 LP's U.S. for the same cost as one, and possibly more 45's. International bidders - Combined shipping will be only based on weight, so I will need to know how many items are bought before sending invoice. Thanks again!!
VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM:
Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear.  VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits.  G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed.  STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects.  Hairline scuffs -  are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one.  I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying.
