Description
George Harrison's 1st solo album 'Wonderwall' on Apple Records in the UK. Matrix A1/B2. Stampers 1T/2T. Etching - The original catalogue number has been crossed out and replaced with SAPCOR1. This is the very 1st stereo pressing with the 'Sold In The UK' statement and excluding the 'EMI recording' statement. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a 'stereo' original cover. Also included is the original black inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback for the most part. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and only light occasional interference. The audio on this LP is very low-key involving a lot of percussive acoustic numbers - interference will stick out like a sore-thumb. That's why we are critically grading at Ex- to show audio playback is of a high standard with only some light interference just audible in the mid-section of both sides. Not perfect certainly, but not a million miles away either.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Shiny front and back with only a couple of spine creases the only vaguely noticeable issue. The cover remains nice and flat and retains most of its original rigidity. A great original example.
Inner (Vg) A bit worn. No seam splits. Tears around the central hole which have been taped.
