Description

First edition of George's venture into the avantgarde, and now a very desirable, highly collectable, rare LP.


ID: APCOR  1A - 1 with the inner-rim marks above that scratched out. Other side has APCOR 1B-1 and similar scratched-out mark.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Very clean and glossy playing surfaces.


Sound Quality: EXCELLENT+

This disc has rarely played and there is no evidence of any groove/playwear anywhere. A check on a high-quality deck reveals only a slight crackle on straining the ear. It is, after all, 45 years old.


History: I am the sole owner. I worked in Milsom's, the last, as far as I know, of the independent record shops, from where it came, in Bath. So, you could say, one professional lady owner. I was there, in the '60s, where it all 'happened and when I got this. I know I hardly played it: it hasn't been through numerous hands - I can vouch for it.


Cover: EXCELLENT: no tears or edge wear.


Inner sleeve:  original black. Two edges have about 1" of edge come apart, and one face has a slight nick in the paper.


INSERT: this does not always survive. Mine is in good uncreased condition, with very minor lower right edge loss of surface and the minimum of foxing speckles on the reverse.


This LP seems to increase in value and has become iconic.
