Description
George Harrison "WONDERWALL MUSIC" Apple - SAPCOR 1 (stereo).
First solo album by one of the Beatles (unless you include Paul McCartney's 'Family Way' soundtrack). This is soundtrack to the 1968 film 'WONDERWALL'. Although credited to George Harrison, he doesn't actually play anything and so this could be the reason it didn't chart in the UK. It is also the first solo Beatle album to be deleted but it made a comeback when Apple re-promoted their original albums (as opposed to the recent CD box set) - I will be listing this re-issue a bit later so, if you are interested, keep an eye out.
Original pressings such as this one, came in a black Apple inner sleeve and printed insert sheet containing the album credits. This copy is in excellent condition both vinyl and sleeve. The outer sleeve has some wear and markings at the edging and the inner album credits has a fold at the top right corner.
