Available in this sale is a genuine Beatles related rarity. One of only three known copies the UK cut George Harrison one sided acetate offered in this sale is certainly an extremely rare and important disk for serious Beatles and Harrison collectors alike.

Recorded in the summer of 1976 at the Master Room custom cutting facility in the UK. This disk was intended as an overview for the record company and George himself of the forthcoming LP "Thirty Three and 1/3" (Released in the UK on DARK HORSE in 1976 cat no: K 56319). Cut only to acetate and not intended for airplay this acetate was not sent out as a Demo for promotion (Each track is incomplete and as such not suitable for airplay or indeed review which is another factor in rarity over other Harrison Acetates which were often cut in much higher numbers
Play Tested
If you are a serious collector familiar with superb condition acetates you will know the sound is far superior (although sadly deteriorates over repeated plays) than vinyl. To Play test this disk we used a Kondo IO Limited field coil cartridge paired with a Kondo silver wired SME 3012 Series 1 (A) tonearm and a fully restored Audio Grail Garrard 301 turntable. The sound was direct and full with very minimal surface noise. (Watch film below of play testing

CONDITION:
A note on grading: We use the UK Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 grease bearing turntable paired with a Kondo Silver wired SME 3012 series 1 tonearm and Audio Note IO Ltd cartridge (See film above).

Acetate:
The one sided acetate presents well under magnified angled light, minimal paper chaffing only. the raised rim run in has a slight lift (The playing surface is flat and the disk plays through without any form of hindrance (See film above) The typed labels are in nice order as is the spindle hole showing minimal signs of use. Playback fidelity is aurally graded as EX. Visually graded as EX .
