Description
Mega rare original LP of George Lewis - New Orleans Stompers Vol 1 (Blue Note 1205 - mono) Original issue blue and white Lexington address labels with Deep Groove, RVG and ear on both sides. Flat Edge pressing with no trademark "R" on either label. Fantastic New Orleans jazz from clarinet master Geroge Lewis in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG++/Near Mint condition with minimal marks (hardly worth reporting) and with most if not all of the original shine - remarkable for a Lexington Blue Note at this point! The cover (frame construction and Lexington address on back) is in VG++/Near Mint condition with minimal age/shelf wear and NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. If you can find a better copy of this rare Blue Note first edition, just buy it!
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased, the cost of record mailers have increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing (in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments). I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $18.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on shipping, Paypal fees as well as mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for other payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable.
