Description

George Russell And His Orchestra         Jazz In The Space Age        stereo        Decca DL 79219  Red label   Cover Autographed by Bill Frisell?         

Bill Evans, Paul Bley (p) Dave Young (ts), Ernie Royal, Al Kiger (t) Dave Baker, Frank Rehak (tb), Milt Hinton (b), Don Lamond, Charlie Persip (d) ETC Rec.  1960 

The record looks and plays VG++. Record plays well with occasional light noise during quiet parts.  A few light ticks at the beginning of each side. No heavy repetitive ticking. Two light, superficial small scuff marks on Side 1 and one on Side 2 which do not affect play.  No scratches into the grooves. The grooves show some play but are not worn or damaged. Some spindle marks. 

 The cover is VG+.  

    The front cover has moderate wear and ring wear with a small hole punch. The back cover has moderate to heavy wear, fading and "Bill Frisell" written at top. I don't know that it is his autograph.  I do know that the record was purchased at least 25 years ago with the name written there.  The corners have spots of denting and wear.  The bottom seam is split app. 3 inches at the pocket nd is not taped.  Top seam is split and taped app. 2 inches at the pocket. The spine is  worn.

 Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
