Description
I am liquidating a record collection that has been amassed over the past 70 years. You are bidding on a rare record by the great George Russell, the father of modal jazz, called George Russell Sextet at the Five Spot on Decca Records DL 79220, red label, deep groove. Sight-graded under a full-spectrum light, the record rates as a M-- with two very light marks. The cover overall rates between a VG+ and a VG with a four-inch seam split on the top, some tape halfway across the bottom, two hole punches, one on the left top and the other on the right top, and some general wear (see photo). You won't find many of these records. This is an excellent copy of this record by one of the greats.
