George W. Johnson - Oxford 210 78 RPM "Laughing Song" One Sided 1901

$

200

Description

Very scarce "Laughing Song" recorded by the first African American star! This was recorded for Columbia in New York City in 1901 and also issued on this gorgeous Oxford label!
This record has some scuffs and wear (particularly at the start, as seen in the photo) but still plays fairly well for being an 125 year old recording! Please refer to the photos and video (played using a 3.5TE stylus) and reach out if you have any questions. Offers are always welcome. I will happily combine shipping for multiple items. Thank you for looking!
