Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of George Wallington “New York Scene” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8207.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once.  The slightly bowed laminated cover is in excellent condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; neat 1 ½” repair on the top seam, at the opening; ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; peculiar indentation/crease on the right side of the front and left side of the back.  Glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Phil Woods, Donald Byrd, Teddy Kotick, and Nick Stabulas.  $500.00.
