Georgie Fame - 2 Original "Columbia" LP's. 1964 & 1966

 

Here are two great mid 1960's Georgie Fame LP's. Classic UK Mod/ R'n'B. The condition is generally very nice overall. Play is really good too.

 

1. Fame At Last! (Columbia 33SX 1638 UK LP 1964) UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse). It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve. This is in Near EX condition. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & blue "Columbia" labels. These have the "Columbia Graphophone..." & "Sold in UK..." texts. The record has 1st press -1N/ -1N matrices. 

Sleeve: Some light rubbing wear to the sleeve opening & corner tips. There is some light fading to the rear too. VG+ condition.

Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light, and about 4 light marks. VG condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light crackle in some of the quieter places.

2. Sweet Things (Columbia SX 6043 UK LP 1966) UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse). It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve. This is in VG condition. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & blue "Columbia" labels. These have the "The Gramophone Co..." & "Sold in UK..." texts. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrices. 

Sleeve: Some light rubbing wear to the sleeve opening. There is some light ringwear too. VG++ condition.

Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light, and about 3 light hairline marks. VG condition. The labels are clean & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. Plays VG++ to Near Excellent, & Excellent in some places. There is some light crackle in a few of the quieter places.

 

Insurance is already included in the stated P&P price.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
