Description

12" Promotional LP entitled Gerry Goffin and Carole King Solid Gold .  Screen Gems Columbia Music CPL-713.  The front of the jacket and the sticker on the record state:  "This recording is furnished to radio and television broadcasters for programming purposes only and is not available for sale or other distribution." 

The songs on Side 1 are: Chains by Beatles; Don't Say Nothin' Bad About My Baby by Cookies; Halfway To Paradise by Tony Orlando; Her Royal Majesty by James Darren; Hey Girl by Freddie Scott; Hi-De-Ho by Blood, Sweat And Tears and I'm Into Something Good by Herman's Hermits.   Side 2:  Loco-Motion by Little Eva; Oh No, Not My Baby by Maxine Brown; One Fine Day by Chiffons; Pleasant Valley Sunday by Monkees; Take Good Care Of My Baby by Bobby Vee; Up On The Roof by Drifters and Will You Love Me Tomorrow by Shirelles.  

Sorry, I am not an expert on grading, I just try to describe what I see best I can.  The vinyls have swooshes and light scratches. I run my hand over the vinyl and I can't detect anything severe enough to cause a pop or crackle.  The jacket has yellowed a bit and it has shelfwear.  4" split along the spine and a 3" split along the bottom.  Some penmarks on the front.  2 stickers on the back.  A genuine radio station copy!
